Two-Handled Ribbed Vase in Lily Pad Green Crystalline, 12.75"h (Ben Owen III) Ben Owen Sr. Measuring 6A distinct design influenced by Ben IIIs time in China. This decorative style is commonly seen in ceramic art from the 9th century Tang Dynasty and also Yue wares. The small handles on the shoulder of this Two Handled Vase embellish the form in a similar approach to the ancient design work. The ribbed design is created by altering the clay with a wooden throwing stick while the clay is still wet on the wheel. A perfect vase for fresh or dried flowers.
